The mission of HAWC is to provide quality, affordable, comprehensive primary health care services to those in need.

HAWC has seen first-hand patients that put off necessary medical care because of a lack of money and the consequences can be dire; patients that need to be hospitalized and receive intravenous antibiotics for Ludwigs Angina, a condition where swelling from an infected tooth begins to close the airway; diabetics that can't afford to manage their insulin, or receive a simple eye exam to prevent blindness who end up in the hospital; and children whose families can't afford well-child checks and vital immunizations.
